Just Thinking

So I am just sitting here at my desk, and I was just thinking about lots of different things that I do and why I do it.
Like I was thinking why do I get up every day and do 25 push-ups? And why do I put my body in danger every game I play? Is it for the love of the game, or for the reward that greatness entails? Honestly, I do not know, I would like to tell you it's just for the love of the game and what it stands for. But, I would be liar if I told you that the millions of dollars that NFL players make doesn't enter my mind. Also, trying to get my family out of Rochester is another factor that drives me. It seems superficial, but I want to give my family a better life, and to be honest if I can't I don't think any of my little sisters could either. So yea, there's pressure on me to do something with my football career and I just hope God helps with it.
The mention of God brings up another thing I was thinking of, gay marriage. Yes, I know that gay marriage is legal in a many of states ,because they proved in terms of human rights with no religious influence, it is wrong to say two people cannot marry solely because they both are the same gender, and I agree with that. But, me being a Christian conflicts with that, and how in the bible it says marriage was meant to be between a man and women. And that being with the same gender is a sin and all that stuff. So, according to my religion I shouldn't be for it, I should be against it with a fiery fist.  So, the two ideas within me are conflicting and causing a big problem internally, I believe in the bible and all the things it teaches about life and going to heaven and all that religious mumbo-gumbo. But, I also believe in every one being equal and having the same rights, so if you're reading this you get the conflict (hopefully if you're intelligent enough). Now you're most likely wondering now, am I against or for gay marriage, to answer that I am neutral. Meaning that if someone asks me if I am for or against gay marriage I am going to tell them that's not my job to determine whether if that's wrong or not. Because at the end of the day I have to meet my creator, and own up for all my sins, and when I have to talk to God about this here topic I will tell him that I was merely not trying offend anyone. I mean don't get me wrong I have nothing against gay or bisexual people, that's not my business what that person likes and does in their free time and I won't look at you any differently depending on your sexual orientation.
As if right now you can feel two different ways about me. Both that I am horrible person and that I am judgmental person that hates gays. Or you can think that I am just a young man that has two different powerful forces pulling me in two different ways on a controversial conversation, so please be considerate of what I am writing, I do not mean to offend anyone in anyway and if I do I am sorry you feel that way, but my opinion won't change. Because at the end of the day I will only have myself, so as a little advice for you don't let other people influence your opinion on how you see the world, because the world is just a kaleidoscope with differing opinion and not one opinion is better than another. Which brings me to another topic... Sexism
Yes sexism exists in our world today, and it can become very apparent at times, like in the work place in terms of income. In 2012 men made a median salary of $49,398, while women brought in $37,791 which is almost ten thousand dollars less than men, and that disappoints me. It does because, men and women are alike and very different and both very capable of succeeding. I think both sexes should be making around the same amount, but obviously from the numbers above they aren't. Maybe it's because the employer thinks that men do the job better, but that would be ludicrous because a woman in that situation could be better, and there could be a man that's better for the job, but the horrible reality is that the man is going to get paid more (on average). If I could change that I would, but I cannot, I'm just a young man blogging this to you. But, this income statistic does not mean that women are inferior in any way, they are equal. When I say that there are the people that might bring up the physical aspect. When they do, I will them that if you took all the men and women in the world and had a competition based on athleticism, overall the men would win, and I am not just saying that. It's a proven fact based on one thing, testosterone, men have a lot of it and women have barely any. And this hormone allows men to gain more muscle and overall become more athletic, but I'm not saying every man is more athletic than every woman, because that would be ridiculous because they're woman that are way more athletic than other men and vice versa. Men and women are just different in that way.
I’m sorry if that was kind of ranty, but I had to get that out and hopefully my Illuminati high ups don’t kill me for saying, hopefully. And if you read the whole thing I would like to thank you I appreciate you. And I hope your opinion on me is somewhat good after this ;) . And if you liked it or didn’t feel free to leave a comment.
