Resillence

You push him down, still he gets back up. You try to break him, he still finds a way to remain intact. You call him names and hurt his face, still he will never relent his endless fight for the light. He will not break! He will not stop! He is the one who keeps going with nothing left to give. He is the one who picks you up when you’re broken. He is the one who’s strong for you while you’re not. He is like a rubber ball, throw him with all your might to the wall, but always expect him to be coming right back. He has had to fight all his life, so you, you’re nothing compared to the strength he has. Resilience is what he is, and what he’s always had to be.
